(include vision and mission) • Identify an organization that has experienced some problem and engaged in a change initiative. • Describe and analyze the historical, market, and cultural elements that contributed to the described problem, what changes were defined by the change initiative, and why this initiative was not successful. • As a team, identify an organization to assess. As you select an organization, consider the intersection of people and information within the organization as well how information is viewed as a capital market exchange in an organization. • Once the organization is selected, look at the organization’s vision and mission or any articles written about your chosen company. • Now that you are familiar with the concept of human capital in value-added perspectives and contributions to enterprise goals, detail your collective response to the following questions: • How do you perceive this new human capital movement in terms of transactional information markets, employee satisfaction, retention, and perceived leadership value within the organization? • Does leadership value the organizational workforce more, and what artifacts can you present that support your conclusions? • Students will form small groups, preassigned by instructor and provided a Group Discussion board for this assignment.
